OpenST is an independent app that restores internet radio and control to Bose SoundTouch speakers after the discontinuation of Bose's SoundTouch cloud services. It points your speaker at a replacement service so that radio and related features work again.
OpenST is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bose Corporation. "Bose" and "SoundTouch" are trademarks of Bose Corporation, used here only to describe compatibility.
Restoring radio requires a one-time configuration of your speaker, which may involve unlocking it (over Wi-Fi or with a USB key). You are responsible for performing this on hardware you own. The process is intended to be reversible, but you use it at your own risk: to the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenST is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for any damage to or malfunction of your hardware.
OpenST is free to use within limits; Pro unlocks additional features. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store:
Physical USB unlock keys may be purchased through the app or website. Orders, payment, and delivery are subject to availability. Refunds for unused, unopened keys may be requested by contacting support, subject to applicable consumer law.
Use OpenST only with speakers you own or are authorised to configure, and in compliance with applicable laws.
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
